mYields took advantage of the mYard Field Zones to determine density and nitrogen needs. The model considers crop, yield target, yield potential, budget, and seed variety information to create machine readable application zone maps.

mYields has successfully taken advantage of the same model and zoning process for its Spring Density and Nitrogen plans. Utilizing the mYard Field Zone calculation, the company produces a 30×30 m resolution grid that determines both density and nitrogen needs. This detailed analysis factors in:
selected crop and yield target of the field
yield potential of the 30x30m area of the field
grower’s nitrogen and seed budget
The density reaction of various seed products based on published agronomic data.
increased efficacy of nitrogen applications at higher plant densities
After gathering these inputs, the information is processed through the model to produce machine-ready, action-oriented application zones. This approach enables a more, cost-effective fertilization strategy while ensuring that nutrient applications are tailored precisely to field-specific conditions.
Looking Ahead
mYields DigitalAg Services empowers farmers with the advise they need to achieve greater yield potential and economic sustainability. More details on our N-flow model -which takes advantage on the DRONATION high resolution topography – will be revealed soon. Our commitment to precision agriculture and data-driven decision making remains stronger, as we continue to push the boundaries of digital agronomy to better support modern farming practices.
